30-Hour Famine
We had an awesome weekend learning about some of these children that are suffering from starvation. The difficulties that they encounter each and every day and how we take such simple things for granted, such as going to the kitchen and turning on the faucet to get a clear glass of water. This is something so simple for us; but for these children, it is a job and a chore to get a CLEAN glass of drinking water. We would like to thank everyone for all your generous donations. We had a smaller group this year but they worked hard at it. We set a goal of raising $1,600 and we way exceeded our goal. This is why Stephany had PINK hair all weekend. We ended up raising $2,752.50. WOW! This will feed 7 children for a year.
Souper Bowl
The children collected $100 that will be donated to First Place Food Pantry.
